This paragraph should be a little note about why we are sailing around the world!

I spent my first couple of years getting in my parents way as they built a boat from ferrocement. My Mum worked to pay for the endeavour while my Dad looked after me and worked on the boat. I was 3 they set sail in 1984. Leaving from Liverpool to sail to Antigua via Ireland, Spain, Gibraltar and the Canaries over a few years. It took them 36 days to cross the Atlantic with us eating on Christmas Cake for the last few days having run out of everything else. I hope to cross a little quicker! And with a bit more food!
