San Blas, Panama

You'd think the San Blas Islands would be memorable for the beaches and swimming, they look like paradise basically. But, it's not what I remember the most fondly, it was the Kuna Indians. The native people of the islands. Friendly, happy people living in an idyllic place even if not an "ideal life" (they are very poor).

We also got to celebrate Chloe's Birthday and enjoy some very warm water to swim in for the kiddos.

I said this about Columbia, but it was still wonderful to be in another new culture after spending so long in the Caribbean.
